Excellance in my Mind

I can't put into words how good it feels to be finally working with these records. It's been such a long gestation process, one that has been fruitful in many ways as well as helped to orient me with the materials. I'm very pleased to catch everyone up. Last night I built a first draft of the sculptures armiture and started drilling out some of the records. Lucky for me, the drilling looks like it is gonna be very easy for the most part. I was worried that would be really difficult but so far not the case. Anyway, shooting to have some new pics and video soon. Stay up.

That's right folks, this Friday 88.1 WYPR will be doing a segment on the work I've been doing on the Obsolescence installation. You can tune in and catch it broadcast at 12:00 noon and again at 7:00 p.m. and then after that you will be able to download it in podcast from the NPR website. I'm really excited about this happening and want to extend a thanks to Chris Ferrera for having an interest in my work.
